About Us – DDA Merchant Navy Wing

DDA Merchant Navy Wing is a dedicated wing of Doon Defence Academy (DDA), focused on preparing students for a successful career in the Merchant Navy through comprehensive training for the IMUCET (Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test).

Doon Defence Academy was founded by Ex-Submariner Sandeep Gupta, Indian Navy (Retd.) in 2005. Under his excellent leadership, the well-renowned Sandeep Sir’s DDA has been continuously motivating and guiding the youth of our country to join the Indian Armed Forces and the Merchant Navy.

DDA’s aim is to provide structured training and quality education to students who want to join the defence and maritime sectors. The Merchant Navy Wing trains students for IMUCET, B.Sc Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, Company Sponsorship exams, and Deck Cadet interviews.
