Who We Are

DDA Merchant Navy Wing “SAGAR” is the specialized Merchant Navy division of Doon Defence Academy, established to guide and prepare students for successful careers in the global maritime industry. Founded under the leadership of Ex-Submariner Sandeep Gupta (Retd.), Indian Navy, Doon Defence Academy has been shaping the careers of young aspirants since 2005.

Over the years, DDA Merchant Navy Wing has helped thousands of students prepare for IMU-CET, company sponsorship examinations, deck cadet interviews and maritime entrance procedures. Our mission is to develop disciplined, confident and career-ready maritime professionals who can thrive in the global shipping industry.
